When the operating system is infected with a virus, it crashes too often or it simply stops working, there is only one solution for such problems: reinstalling Windows. There is nothing better than starting over, with a freshly installed operating system. The problem is that it takes too long to format the hard drive, install the system and the needed drivers, services or updates. Sysrestore Pro offers a faster solution. It takes snapshots of disk partitions as well as any settings you make and you can use them to restore the system. If it stops working correctly or you lose important data, you can perform a recovery process, which will not take long and you will find everything the way it was when the snapshot was taken.

Sysrestore Pro can be installed like any other application, but it is recommended that you install it on the system's partition (drive C:). When you finish installing, the computer will restart automatically, with little or no warning, so you should make sure that nothing is left unsaved.

Snapshots can be created and restored in the first section of the interface. After clicking the Create button, you may type in a description, so you can find the snapshot faster if you need to restore your partition. You may create as many snapshots as you need and use them to recover your partition by clicking an option in the same section.

Creating and recovering partitions can be done by going through different steps. When recovering a drive, you will have to select one of the created snapshots and click a button, during the next step, to confirm the process. You will have to wait a few seconds, while a progress bar fills. Moreover, your computer will be restarted twice. When this process is complete, you will find everything exactly the way it was when you took that snapshot.

If you lose important files, due to hardware failure or other reasons, you can recover them without rebooting the computer. The same list of snapshots can be found in the second section of the interface. After selecting one and clicking the Next button, you will find a long list of files, including deleted ones. You can view different types of files, like documents, images, videos, program source files and many others, including custom extensions. Deleted files can be restored to their original location or in a folder of your choosing.

Sysrestore Pro can be scheduled to create snapshots automatically. It can perform this action during the first boot of each day, during each boot or at regular intervals, from 1 to 24 hours. The scheduling options are located on the software's main settings panel, where you can also select what partitions to protect and create a password to restrict access to Sysrestore Pro.

Pros

Besides restoring an entire partition, along with your settings, Sysrestore Pro lets you recover individual files as well, without needing to restart your computer. Snapshots of your system and its settings are created fast and you can schedule automatic ones as well.

Cons

Sysrestore Pro may conflict with other recovery software and you will not be able to install it. Sysrestore Pro will spare you from reinstalling your operating system. Thanks to its advanced capabilities, you just need to restart your computer and the system will be as good as new.
